Welcome to the new and improved
Community Mapper
We've been hard at work for the last few months updating our
Community Mapper application and we've made some improvements we
think you'll like!
A few highlights with this update:
- The map interface is based on Google Maps so
most users will be comfortable navigating. But don't worry, we've
created our own basemap so the data should be more current than
Google's.
- Newer Satellite Photography - For much of Union County (about 75%)
the imagery is as new as April 2010.
- You can select more than one parcel. Find all of the parcels in a subdivision, along a specific road, etc. Then, add or remove parcels as needed.
- Export selected parcels in KML (Google Earth) and CSV (Excel) formats.
- Performance - We've optimized our code so the application should start up faster and run smoother.
- And last, but definitely not least, Google Street View is available
for much of the county.
